Lincoln has some pretty great thrift and consignment stores, me thinks. One of my favorites is The Black Market, downtown at 10th [...] Summer was fun as a kid, I recall. I get to relive timeless bits of it watching The Kid experience summer memory making. Today the Neighbor Kid came over and they made water balloons. They agreed, however, not to hurl them at each other. But instead to throw the water [...] Confession: I love Lincoln, Nebraska. It’s hard to find a good stylist, no? Thankfully in the last year I discovered a fellow mom here in Longmont, Colorado, who’s pretty [...] Neighbor Laura’s husband, whom I shall call here Mr. Laura, is a computer geek by day, gentleman farmer + foodie by night. As the neighborhood’s gang of children grow up, he’s one of the dads on the block where his adventures draw the kiddos in. Like the Pied Piper.
In the spirit of summer, here is one of my thrift store finds that I love (albeit I haven’t found quite the right place to put this little gem).
