Longmont is rad because it has an annual Arbor Day celebration that is FREE and really great for families. Maybe I’m fond of Arbor Day and its history because of my maternal side’s roots (ha, ha, get it?!) in Nebraska City, Nebraska, home of the beautiful Arbor Lodge [...] I picked The Kid up from a recent religious ed class and she informed me she is giving up soda for 40 days before Easter.
