How do you feel about New Year’s Resolutions? During the last few years, I didn’t make resolutions; I made to-do lists. FGM (my fairy godmother) called them “mock oranges.” I made the gaffe of trying to remember what they were and instead called them “fake lemons.” Oops. Their official name: osage oranges. I haven’t had much luck thrifting anyway! have to say the Boulder thrift scene has been disappointing lately. Either too pricey or much too junky. Oh well. I spent a lot of time there and wanted to share some of my favorite places. *** This Friday is the last football game between the University of Colorado, where I work, and the University of Nebraska, where I went to college. You would never know the Sunken Gardens exists as you drive through one of Lincoln’s busiest intersections at 27th Street and Capitol Parkway.
