This is a shop called Porch Light, located in the Historic East Village area of downtown Des Moines, Iowa. I’m a huge fan of businesses like this, so mad props to high school friend and fellow NEPA chick loving [...] A few months ago I had heard there was a high end consignment shop opening in SW Longmont and was excited to see the balloons and sign out front announcing that Fabulous Finds was finally in business. It’s situated in a strip mall that houses a fitness studio, Proto’s pizza, Vic’s Espresso, a liquor store, a [...] I picked up this vase from a swap. Not technically thrifting. But thrifty, yes? Earlier this summer when I was acquiring my bike gear, I learned about a local company, Pearl Izumi, and [...] Wooden pineapple decor. $3 from savers in Boulder. Did you know in some cultures that pineapple is associated with the idea of welcome? I am particularly fond of this notion. Piña is also one of my favorite fruits (and I am not a fan of fruit, let me remind [...] |
