Purses. Some women seem to be obsessed with them. I am not. Not quite. Not yet anyway. But this was so purty. And strong. I bought it more as a statement piece and less as a carry-all. I’ve never actually used this purse. I just admire it. In the my closet. Sometimes it’s [...] Sometimes it’s hard to explain why you like something. Especially when it seems plain. I prefer to think of it as pure. I like this plate. A cool+modern color in a strong+organic shape. A little wild. A little restricted. May have been influenced by my time [...] When I was pregnant, we decided to wait until the Birth Day to learn if we were having a son or a daughter. After The Kid’s first cries, amid a canopy of surgical fabrics and masks and drugs, we had to ask the doctors girl or boy – they forgot t tell us! [...] In the spirit of summer, here is one of my thrift store finds that I love (albeit I haven’t found quite the right place to put this little gem).
I’ve had it in the powder room above the toilet (which a friend once commented how perfect it [...] I’m a big fan of series. I mean, you can count on a series. Usually. You know, “Same Bat Time, same Bat Channel!” Anyhoo, inspired by bloggers like The Pleated Poppy’s What I Wore Wednesday , I’ve been tinkering with the idea of sharing my thrift store finds on a weekly basis. Which apparently is really uncool to say in Colorado when Denver and Boulder and all the mountain resorts are so close. But I’ve lived in some pretty dire places, so I know a good place when I see it. And Longmont’s really nice. Sure like any place, it has its seedy [...] Check out these gems from the savers in Boulder. It’s always a hoot.
